yeah, it’s a freaking miracle

the guy is hanging on alright–and the whole time we were visiting him and not being so strict on the universal precautions, he was dripping with staph aureus, the MRSA kind, and my brother in law was sick, and his baby was sick, and now, guess who’s sick, oh yes, me. and this is okay since now that we’re home from xmas i can just lie in bed and not even have to do animal care until friday again, and i do NOT want to even talk about animal care today because that was the start of my shitty day.

and um, this might sound odd to you dear reader, but next year, next year, i’m jewing it up. no more chanukah taking a back seat, okay? i’m perfectly happy to look at yr xmas tree, but i will not be relegated to a footnote in the family winter type celebrations. i’m sitting here in our room looking at our menorah and being sad for it has been shoved into a corner and no one even cares if i light candles or not.
